Telehealth therapy for adults and teens. No commute. Ages 13 and up.
I'm a Utah-licensed CMHC serving Salt Lake City residents via telehealth. Based in Layton, but geography doesn't matter because sessions are all over video. My Salt Lake City clients come from Sugar House, the Avenues, downtown, the Foothills, Rose Park, Millcreek, Holladay, and every other part of the metro. Insurance covers most sessions.
All Salt Lake City neighborhoods including Sugar House, the Avenues, downtown, Rose Park, Foothills, Yalecrest, and surrounding Salt Lake County areas including Millcreek, Holladay, Murray, South Salt Lake, West Valley City, Sandy, Draper, and Cottonwood Heights.
Because sessions are telehealth, you save the drive time. Sessions from your home, office, car (parked), or anywhere private with a decent internet connection.
Directly in-network in Utah with:
Plus Aetna, Cigna, and 100+ more plans via Tava Health. Private pay is $150 per session.
Most of the people I work with are not in crisis. They're a lot more ordinary than that. Work stress that's leaked into everything else. Drinking that's crept up. Sleep gone sideways. A relationship stuck on the same argument. A kid they don't know how to help.
I've spent years in mental health settings ranging from outpatient private practice to adolescent residential treatment. I know what real distress looks like. I also know what "life is grinding me down" looks like. Both are worth taking seriously. More about me →
No. My practice is telehealth only. I don't have a physical office in Salt Lake City or anywhere else. All sessions are via secure video from wherever you are.
Because it doesn't matter where I sit. What matters is whether I'm a good clinical fit and whether I take your insurance. Since sessions are telehealth, the drive time from Salt Lake City to Layton isn't relevant. You save the commute, I save the commute, we spend the time on the actual work.
Directly in-network with SelectHealth, PEHP, Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, Optum, UMR, GEHA, and University of Utah Health Plans. Plus Aetna, Cigna, Evernorth, Medica, and 100+ other plans through Tava Health. Private pay is $150 per session.
Yes. Being directly in-network with U of U Health Plans doesn't require me to work at the University. I'm just contracted with them as a network provider. U of U employees, students, Healthy U members, and anyone with a U of U Health commercial plan can see me at in-network rates.
Yes. I have some evening slots for clients who work standard business hours. Ask about evening availability when you book.
Yes. Students with U of U Health Plans, SelectHealth (common for GA/RA plans), or their parents' commercial insurance can see me in-network. Cash pay is also available for students who don't want to use insurance.
